The bust of Alexandru Vlahu\u021b\u0103 is made in marble by the sculptor Oscar Han. Placed in 1943, it is one of the twelve busts in the Rondul Roman (Writers’ Rotunda) in Ci\u0219migiu Garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other works by Oscar Han in Bucharest: Mihail Kog\u0103lniceanu’s statue<\/strong> erected in 1936 in Mihail Kog\u0103lniceanu Square, Constantin Br\u00e2ncoveanu’s statue<\/em><\/strong> in the courtyard of St. Gheoghe-Nou church in Bucharest, where the ruler is buried. Other of his works can be found in the Minulescu \u2013 Claudia Millian Memorial House, at the National Art Museum of Romania, at the Zambaccian Museum, where the work Arca\u0219ul<\/em><\/strong> is exhibited.<\/p>\n<\/div>

In Picturesque Romania<\/em><\/strong>, Vlahu\u021b\u0103 deciphers the traces of the past in the ruins of fortresses and in popular legends, presents with a sense of national pride the beauties of the country and the multitude of moral qualities of its inhabitants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
