Dimitriu \u2013 B\u00e2rlad from Bucharest: Bust of Titu Maiorescu from the Writers&#8217; Rotunda in the Ci\u0219migiu Garden, Bust of Elena Cuza, Bust of Prof. Dimitrie Br\u00e2ndz\u0103 from the Botanical Garden.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is the significance of the monument?<br>The monument represents a mother grieving the death of her daughter, pouring water from a jug. At the bottom of the statue is engraved the inscription:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">SISSI SPRING<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">WORSHIP MY DEAR CHILDREN<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">SISSI STEFANIDI<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statue was erected at the request of the Stefanidi family after the death of their daughter Sissi at the age of 21.
