This place is full of mysteries and a series of urban legends have appeared around it.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In fact, this &#8220;citadel&#8221; represents the ruins of a former monastery. It is said that it was built in 1756 by the logofat C. V\u0103c\u0103rescu. It is also said that a secret tunnel started from here (from the area of \u200b\u200bthe first vault next to the street) that connected <em><strong>the Cre\u021bulescu Palace<\/strong><\/em> *, under Ci\u0219migiu, to the shore full of hiding places of D\u00e2mbovi\u021ba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 42%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>*The Cre\u021bulescu Palace<\/em><\/strong> is a historic palace located near Ci\u0219migiu Park in Bucharest, sector 1, located on the side facing \u0218tirbei Vod\u0103 Street. The castle was built on a land inhabited since the Bronze Age.
