The monument has a semicircular shape, being made of stone blocks. It is assumed that there was an older spring in this place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2019, a commemorative plaque was installed near Eminescu&#8217;s Spring to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the great poet&#8217;s death.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Legend has it that\u2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>&#8220;Eminescu used to come to this spring&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Perhaps the legend of Eminescu&#8217;s Spring has some truth. Between the years 1882 &#8211; 1883, the editorial office of the newspaper &#8220;Timpul&#8221;, where Eminescu was editor-in-chief, had moved to \u015etirbei Vod\u0103, and the poet lived quite close.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>&#8220;Eminescu&#8217;s spring has the best water in the entire Capital, it comes from the depths of the earth and has healing properties&#8221;.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The authorities assure us that the water is drinkable, respecting all the quality criteria for water delivered to consumers.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Always, in Ci\u015fmigiu, people stopped at Eminescu&#8217;s Spring, located near the entrance to Ci\u015fmigiu, from \u015etirbei Vod\u0103 street.
